Olympus PEN E-PM1 High quality lenses like a DSLR

Olympus PEN series' compact digicams just got three more new models. The most affordable, and smallest in the series, is E-PEN PM 1, which will be available in six stylish colors (purple, pink, brown, white, silver, and black). PEN idea behind the whole series that they are both compact (such as point and shoot), but features fast, high-quality interchangeable lenses (like a DSLR). All cameras in this series will feature 12.3 Megapixel Live MOS image sensor, a TruePic VI Image Processor, Dust Reduction System, 3.0 "LCD screen (460K pixels), and high ISO 12,800 capability. Autofocus in E-PM 1 FAST System is handled by Olympus' (Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology) Tracking Autofocus, which uses 35 separate focal point to find a sharp, clear focus, and quickly in any situation. Art Filters, which can be applied in combination with up to 10 on the camera while shooting, will vary per model (not all the features of each camera filter), but may include Diorama, Pop Art, Soft Focus, Pale & Light Colour, Light Tone, rough film, Pin Hole, Cross process, Soft Sepia, Dramatic tone, Starlight, and the White Edge. Another similarity between the models in this line is the built-in collection of Olympus' Art Filters "to help customize the look of images without the need for after-the fact-photo editing software.

This camera is the lightest and smallest of the PEN series. But do not be Fooled by its small size, as it can capture 12-megapixel photos and 720p HD video. Dual core image processing engines help everyday people capture brilliant images in any lighting situation. And while there is no built-in flash (you can buy one That fits into the camera's hot shoe) the EPM-1 is capable of Achieving an ISO of 12.800. On the back is a 3-inch 460k dot LCD screen, the which lets you choose from a variety of options including a 3D mode, 23-scene modes and an iAuto That mode picks the best settings for the scene.
