651ppi Meets Typographic and Photo Excellent
Japan Show Inc. (JDI) (President: Shuichi Otsuka), a leading provider of LCD technology, today declared that it has designed a world-class digital (LCD) in the direct-view panel field that features an outstanding of 651ppi*1 (RGB pixel pitch: 39μm*3). Although the display size is only 2.3-inches, toughness structure of the display is 1,280 × 800 p (WXGA), which is much like those used in typical laptop computer PCs. From another viewpoint, toughness structure of the newly-developed display is nearly twice the caliber of modern high-resolution mobile phone shows.
