Sony DSC HX9V camera with G lens and 3D sweep panorama capabilities. DSC-HX9V is Sony's second tour-zoom camera, HX5 following last year's model. Travel-zoom lens is now usually offer at least 10x or greater in a compact body that you can still fit inside a pocket, with some models of upping the ante with a 16x lens. Sony DSC-HX9V join the party by extending the 16x optical lens with f/3.3 maximum apertures at the respectable 24mm wide-angle settings and f/5.9 at full telephoto 384mm setting.
HX9V lens is a real joy to use, with a 16x zoom in such a small package makes this camera very easy to adapt, with everything from ultra-wide landscapes to candid portraits remotely accessible. Wide angle 24mm focal length gives an entirely new perspective can only enhance your creativity. You will not want to go back to zoom "standard" 35mm after using a 24mm lens on the DSC-HX9V, or even a 28mm - 4mm at the wide angle end really makes a big difference.
Even when set to 384mm, the lens does not extend too far from the front HX9V, so it looks for all intents and purposes like a camera "normal" compact. The combination of aperture f/3.3, effective optical image stabilizer and a maximum speed of ISO 3200 make this camera suitable for hand-held low light photography. Sony has equipped with dual image stabilization mechanism in the form of both optical SteadyShot and ISO range that extends up to ISO 3200. If not quite class-leading, it's better than you'll find the average point-and-shoot. Note that you can not really turn off the SteadyShot function.
Pressing the mode button the drive with two options, single or burst, with high, continuous selection of mid and low speeds then available in the menu system. Of this amount, high-speed continuous mode is the most remarkable. The HX9V take up to 10 full resolution images at 10 frames per second frankly shocking, which is faster than most compact cameras, and indeed most of the DSLRs as well. Fly only in the ointment is that once burst finish, it takes more than fifteen seconds for the camera to clear the buffer, where you can not take another picture. In the other two continuous shooting modes, HX9V Sony also takes up to 10 images, but at slower speeds of 5 or 2 frames per second.
The bottom HX9V Sony features the standard metal screw thread for attaching to a tripod which is now more conveniently located in the middle. A plastic cover protects the lithium-ion batteries and a removable memory card, with HX9V supports SD / SDHC Pro in addition to its own format to Sony's Memory Stick Duo. There is also not feasible 11MB of internal memory to fall back on that can store nine full-resolution still images. HX9V right side has a small metal eyelet for the wrist strap provided and also an HDMI port under a sturdy plastic cover, while there are no controls on the left side (looking from behind).
